Cookie Policy
Last updated: 28 September 2026
This policy explains the small number of browser storage mechanisms azly.io uses, in the detail our EU and Kenyan visitors expect.
1. The short version
azly.io sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party tracking cookies of any kind. The only browser storage we use is a local record of your cookie-notice acknowledgement, plus whatever strictly necessary session mechanics the web framework itself requires when you submit the contact form.
2. What we store, item by item
| Item | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| azly-cookie-notice-v1 | Local storage | Remembers that you acknowledged the cookie notice, so we do not show it again | Until you clear browser data |
| Framework session mechanics | Strictly necessary | Protecting the contact form submission (integrity of the server action) | Session only |
3. Why this is enough
We do not run analytics or advertising tools, embed third-party media, or use social widgets, so there is nothing else that needs cookies. Under the GDPR and the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019, no consent is required for strictly necessary storage, which is why the notice on this site is informational rather than a consent gate.
4. Managing storage
You can clear local storage and cookies at any time in your browser settings (usually under privacy and site data). Clearing the acknowledgement record simply shows the notice again.
5. Changes and contact
If we ever add optional storage, this page will say so, the notice will become a genuine consent choice, and the change will be announced here first. Questions: hello@azly.io.
